HEIC to JPG

Convert HEIC pictures to JPG

or drop files here

Your files never leave your device: HEIC to JPG runs inside your browser, so nothing is uploaded, stored or seen by anyone. It is free and needs no sign-up.

iPhones save photos as HEIC, a compact format that many websites, Windows programs and exam portals cannot open. Convert them to JPG here and the picture works everywhere. The decoding runs on your own device, so your photos are never uploaded.

To make your iPhone save JPG in future, open Settings, then Camera, then Formats, and choose Most Compatible. Photos you took earlier stay HEIC, which is what this page is for.

How to use HEIC to JPG

Questions and answers

Does converting HEIC to JPG lower the quality?
JPG is a lossy format, so there is a very small loss. At the default quality of 90 percent you are unlikely to see a difference; you can raise it for the best result.
Can I convert many HEIC photos at once?
Yes. Add as many photos as you like and each one is converted to JPG in the same run.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Your browser opens and processes the files itself, and nothing is sent to our servers. You can check this yourself on the How we do it page.
Is my original photo changed?
No. You get a new file to download and the original stays where it is. Check the result before you replace anything.
Is HEIC to JPG really free?
Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many files you use it for.
